Hard to believe it's been a year already. I guess time flies when you don't get to live together. This is the card John got me for our anniversary. Quite possibly the best monkey card ever.
He also had his great-grandmother's wedding ring from 1919 restored and a ruby set where the diamond had been. The picture is a little blurry so you can't see all of the filigree and detail in the band. You'll just have to come down to KC and see it in person!
It would fit better if my hands weren't swollen and sore from all the construction this weekend. But the good news is that I picked up the correct PVC we need to finish the drain and a Home Depot book on tiling for some nice bedtime reading.
Hopefully by our 2nd anniversary we'll be living together in our house, sans construction!
