Can you believe it, summer is over already. Last Thursday we went to the last preseason game at arrowhead vs. the Packers. The stadium was less than packed.
One of the bad parts of having skylights is broken skylights. We ordered one that opens to help better vent the second bedroom. Hopefully it doesn't rain too much until the replacement comes.
Also along the lines of home repairs. Last winter when our pipes froze I could feel lots of air blowing in the overhang. Last weekend I tore everything down to insulate.
Where would the blowing air come from? Found it!
I sealed everything up, insulated, and generally tightened up the spots that let air in. That should take care our pipes next winter.
